What is it with people and their obsession with putting avocados in everything? Seriously, did the world need an avocado cream shake? Oh sure, it’s all creamy and has more healthy fats than you can shake a stick at, but at what point does cramming an entirely innocuous fruit into a calorie bomb make it a smart health choice? It’s almost like someone looked at avocados and thought, “You know what this needs? More condensed milk!” Just what I need. More sugary goop in liquid form. Fantastic.

And let’s talk about the “Vietnamese style.” Spicing things up with a foreign twist doesn’t automatically make it better news for anyone concerned about more than just calories. No magic health halo comes with that label. Call it what you like, it’s still just a dessert parading as a weight gain trick. Yeah, try convincing anyone that slurping down the creamy concoction of condensed milk and avocado is a good idea. Even the term “healthy fat” becomes laughable here.

Point blank: avocados belong in salads or on toast, not as some hidden calorie density masquerading as a smoothie. Call it day with this nonsense and maybe find another way to gain weight that doesn’t involve gulping down a drink inspired by meaningless trends. Whatever.
